RFOX

The idea of the metaverse has been around for quite a long time, if you’ve seen movies like Ready Player One, you will already know what a potential Metaverse will look like. Turning that idea into a reality is obviously the difficult part, but some pioneers in the industry are getting closer and closer into making that virtual reality an actual reality.

RFOX is one of those such companies, founded in 2018, it has consistently aimed to become the first metaverse company in the world. It’s mission? Create a central hub that brings together a multitude of services into one virtual space. At the core of this mission is the need for the barriers to entry to be lowered, and for joining the metaverse to be quick, as well as rewarding for participants, compensating them for the part that they play within this new digital ecosystem.

RFOX’s CEO Ben Fairbank had this to say:

Although the metaverse concept is new to many, it is a concept that we have been focused on for years and seeing this industry sector gain widespread attention is validation that we were on the right path and that what we are building will have us continue down that path and lead innovation over the course of the next decade.

So what stage is RFOX at?

Well, they’ve created the RFOX VALT – An interconnected hub focused on e-commerce and entertainment. It features e-sports tournaments, rides, live performances, and many other experiences.

Users navigate the VALT as an Avatar and can enter and browse various ‘SHOP’s which are hosted by other users and are wholly customisable by the SHOP owner, much like real life.

The VALT is a great step forwards, and RFOX has surely earned its magnificent increase in value. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to jump into a virtual world like the one featured in Ready Player One and experience a brand-new world. I just hope none of them end up like the first half of Sword Art Online’s first season… That would be less cool…

This is the Oasis. It’s a place where the limits of reality are your own imagination. You can do anything, go anywhere.
